Why mud system need mud agitator and mud mixer?
Mud mixers and mud agitator are used in surface mud systems to suspend solids and maintain a homogeneous mixture throughout the system. The mechanical agitator is driven by an explosion-proof motor connected to a gearbox that drives the impeller shaft. An impeller (turbine) converts mechanical power into fluid circulation or agitation. The aim is to obtain a homogeneous suspension of all solids.
