The HDD drilling fluid recovery system is designed for horizontal directional drilling RIGS (HDDS). According to the needs of drilling mud, the HDD mud recovery system can include vibrating screen, demoulding cyclone separator, demoulding cyclone separator, decanter centrifuge, mud tank, mud mixer, mud gun, transport pump and so on. The screen size of the shaker will be based on the shaker's performance on mud flow and drilling mud separation in different mud requirements.
HDD mud recovery system working procedure
1. There is a drilling machine on each side of the drilling hole, and a set of vertical mud pump is set on the top of the drilling machine for feeding the vibrating screen. The shale shaker separates the drilling cuttings and the fluid portion falls through the sieve into the trap.
2. After 1 or 2 or 3 sets of desander cyclones, a set of centrifugal pumps will separate the desander Cyclong in the second stage, and the solid desander will discharge the vibrating screen or direct cutting box and the liquid flow desander will flow into the desander chamber.
3. After the desander, a certain number of desander cyclones will be placed for fine particle separation.
The solids other than the desander will be discharged into the vibrating screen or cuttings box, and the fluid inside the desander will enter the desander room.
4. The mixing pump is installed on the anti-skid chute for drilling mud conveying, and the mud is injected into the mud hopper to remix the new mud with new chemicals. The mixing hopper can be installed on the top of the tank or on the slider upon customer's request.
